เรามีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะบอกว่าคณะมนตรีว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชน (Human Rights Council) ได้รับรองสิทธิภายใต้หัวข้อที่เราทุกคนมีสิทธิที่จะได้อยู่ในสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีต่อสุขภาพ

การรับรองในครั้งนี้หมายถึงความรับผิดชอบที่มากขึ้นจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐบาล เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าพวกเราจะได้อาศัยอยู่ในโลกที่มีสภาพอากาศที่ปลอดภัยและสภาพแวดล้อมที่มั่นคง ปราศจากสารพิษ มีอากาศบริสุทธิ์ การเข้าถึงแหล่งน้ำที่ปลอดภัยและการสุขาภิบาลที่เพียงพอ สุขภาพที่ดีและยั่งยืนจากอาหารที่ดี และความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพและระบบนิเวศที่เจริญรุ่งเรือง นี่คือความสำเร็จอันน่ามหัศจรรย์ที่เกิดจากการสนับสนุนจากพวกเราทุกคน ขอขอบคุณสำหรับทุกเสียงสนับสนุนที่เข้ามาร่วมลงชื่อภายใต้แคมเปญ #MyPlanetMyRights และ #สิ่งbadล้อม 

United Nation (UN) ได้เริ่มการร่างคำแนะนำทั่วไป (General Comment) หมายเลข 26 ว่าด้วยสิทธิเด็กและสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยได้จัดทำแบบสอบถามเพื่อรวบรวมความคิดเห็นจากประชาชน ท่านสามารถเข้าไปร่วมตอบแบบสอบถาม เพื่อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งได้โดยกดที่ลิ้งค์ (ที่นี่)

We’re delighted to say that the Human Rights Council has recognized our rights to a healthy environment!

This youth inspired movement asked for greater responsibility from government agencies to ensure that children live in a world with a safe climate and a stable environment free from toxic substances, fresh air, access to safe water sources and adequate sanitation. 

Good health and sustainability from good food and thriving biodiversity and ecosystems is essential to human life. This is an amazing achievement that was made possible with the support of everyone! Thank you for the supportive voices that signed our campaign. #MyPlanetMyRights
